This month’s cover features a photograph of Kingman School student William R. Groves by photojournalist Jack Bradley. Bradley developed his talent as a combat photographer during the Korean War. After discharge, he worked for a Peoria television station as its first newsreel photographer before joining the Peoria Journal Star newspaper in 1955.

The Special Collections Center at Bradley University’s Cullom-Davis Library holds more than 2,000 of Bradley’s images dating from 1955 to 1977 as part of the Jack Bradley Photojournalism Collection.
