Conference information
Many librarians have indi- cated a strong interest in be- coming much more involved in the conferences held by other professional associa- tions. Here, briefly, is infor- mation on three important 1993 conferences.
National Association for Chicano Studies
The National Association for Chicano Studies’ (NACS) 21st Annual Conference will be held March 25-27, 1993, at San Jose State Uni- versity, California. The tentative theme of the conference is “Defining Chicana and Chicano Studies.” Registration, hotel, and transportation information will be available by November 1992. The deadline for papers is December 31, 1992. National Association for Ethnic Studies
The National Association for Ethnic Studies’ (NAES) 1993 Conference will be held at the University of Utah, March 3—6, 1993.
