Librarians at Loyola Marymount University contributed to conversations around EDI issues by hosting the first People of Color in Library and Information Science Summit last year. They share their experiences in “Empowering collaborations and creating brave spaces.”

Librarians at Mercer University found a creative way for one of their colleagues to attend a state conference and write about their solution in “We virtually brought our colleague to a library conference.”

Open access return on investment is the subject of this issue’s Scholarly Communication column by Ellen Dubinsky, while Stephanie Crowe, Anne Pemberton, and Vonzell Yeager write about their “Information Literacy Faculty Fellows program” in the latest Perspectives on the Framework column.

This issue marks a passing of the torch for our International Insights column as founding coeditor Barbara J. Ford steps away. She provides a recap of her career-long involvement with international and global library issues in an interview with her fellow column editors.
