This month’s cover image is a montage of book art pieces created for the Claremont Colleges Library (CCL) RE:BOOK contest. Held as part of the library’s celebration of National Library Week, RE: BOOK is a contest that invites members of the CCL community to submit art projects made from worn-out books and other forms of cast-off paper.

Held by CCL in 2012 and 2013, discarded books, magazines, and printouts, along with glue, water, paint, spoons, dental floss, and a clock mechanism have all been used to create RE: BOOKS. Learn more about the project in Natalie Tagge and Char Booth’s article starting on page 402.
