Cover Page
This month’s cover is an image by prolific North Carolina photographer Hugh Morton, taken during the late 1930s or early 1940s at Camp Yonahnoka in Avery County, North Carolina. Morton’s extensive photographic archive was donated to the North Carolina Collection at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill in 2007. With material dating from the 1930s through the early 2000s, the Morton collection presents a major, multiyear processing undertaking for the staff of the North Carolina Collection Photographic Archives.

Visit the A View to Hugh blog at www.lib.unc.edu/blogs/morton/ to view additional images and learn more about the collection.
