The poster "Rodeo Parade: In the MontanaWyoming Dude Ranch Country," printed in the 1940s by Jensen Printing in Minneapolis, features a reproduction of an Edward V. Brewer painting. In this depiction of a Fourth of July parade on the streets of a Western town, a Native American and a young cowgirl are in the lead, followed by cowboys. This promotional poster for the Northern Pacific North Coast Limited rail line urges tourists to use the railroads to enjoy a western experience as a cowboy at a dude ranch. An extensive collection of visual materials in the Autry Museum of Western Heritage research center includes almost 1,500 posters, promoting travel, wild west shows and other theatrical performances, movies, and TV and advertising products. All research center materials are cataloged into RLIN, downloaded into its local Innopac catalog, and made available to the research public.
