Renowned designer Paul Davis created this sunny poster for the 14th edition of the Miami Book Fair Interna­tional, an eight-day celebration of the written word tak­ing place at the Wolfson Campus of Miami-Dade Com­munity College, downtown Miami, November 16-23, 1997. Hundreds of thousands of visitors are expected to attend this beloved cultural event, which features readings by 250 renowned authors, 300 literary exhibi­tors, and a three-day outdoor street fair. Other events include Children's Alley, an interactive "village" for young readers; Epicure Row, a stage with demonstrations by famous author-chefs; and live music, costumed charac­ters, and art exhibits.
