"Waiting" by Stephen Longstreet (b.1907) is an undated watercolor and ink drawing from the Stephen Longstreet Papers in the Department of Special Collections at the University of Chicago (UC) Library. Longstreet, an artist and jazz historian, recorded his involvement in the jazz scene in journals, sketchbooks, paintings, and drawings. The relationship between Chicago and jazz is the focus of the Chicago Jazz Archive at the UC Library.
