This month’s cover features an image of Wilfred “Boomer” Harding (1915–91 from the University of Windsor’s “Breaking the Colour Barrier: Wilfred ‘Boomer’ Harding and the Chatham Coloured All-Stars” collection. The collection is one of several projects related to scrapbooks donated to the University of Windsor by Harding’s family and tells the story of the Chatham, Ontario, baseball team, which became the first Black team to win a provincial Ontario Baseball Amateur Association championship in 1934.

Through artifacts, documents, and oral histories, the project conveys a rich and vital story about race, courage, and community in Southwestern Ontario in the early 20th century. More information is available at http://cdigs.uwindsor.ca/BreakingColourBarrier/.
