Computer information literacy
The International Association for the Evaluation of Educational Achievement found just 2 percent of 8th-grade students demonstrated an ability to critically assess information found online. “On average, students from higher socioeconomic status backgrounds had significantly higher computer information literacy (CIL) scores. Students with a parent who had completed a Bachelor’s degree or higher had a CIL score 31 points higher than students whose parents do not hold a degree.”

International graduate students
“The number of international graduate applications received by institutions participating in the CGS International Graduate Admissions Survey declined by 4 percent between Fall 2017 and Fall 2018, while first-time graduate enrollment decreased by 1 percent.
