3-6—Research: “Research for Competitive Advantage,” annual conference of the Association for Library and Information Science Education, will be held at the Omni Shoreham Hotel, Washington, D.C. 3- 5—Literacy: The National LOEX Clearinghouse for Library Instruction will sponsor the 17th National LOEX Library Instruction Conference, Ann Arbor, Michigan. Titled “Coping with Information Illiteracy: BI for the Information Age,” the conference will include formal papers, practical working sessions, short instructional presentations, and traditional poster sessions. 15-17—Archives: Symposium on “Converging Disciplines in the Management of Current Records,” intended for a multidisciplinary audience of managers, librarians, archivists, computer specialists, and publishers, sponsored by the National Archives of Canada, Ottawa, Ontario.
