ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR FOR PUBLIC SERVICES.University of Maryland at College Park Libraries. This includes the application of the basic principles of knowledge organization to an assortment of new initiatives and traditional materials. This position will have primary responsibility for the performance of Medical Subject Heading (MeSH) cataloging in support of the Health Sciences Libraries. DIRECTOR OF THE LIBRARY.The Graduate Theological Union announces that the position of Director of the Flora Lamson Hewlett Library will be open as of July 1, 1997. The GTU Common Library serves the graduate programs of five Protestant Seminaries, three Roman Catholic schools of theology, a Unitarian/Universalist school, a Center for Jewish Studies, Institute for Buddhist Studies, and programs in Orthodox Studies, Women and Religion, Pacific and Asian Theology, Ethics and Social Policy, Theology and the Natural Sciences, and Theology and the Arts.
