APPOINTMENTS

Mrs. Leslie J. Admire has joined the staff of San Diego State College library as assistant humanities librarian in San Diego, California.

Howard L. Applegate is the director of the new George Arents Research Library at Syracuse University. He will also continue in his former post as assistant director of libraries at Syracuse University.

Mrs. Virginia W. Baker has joined the American Library Association staff as professional assistant for the Library Administration and Association of College and Research Libraries divisions.

William O. Baker is a newly appointed member of the Board of Regents of the National Library of Medicine.

Mrs. Elaine BercK has been appointed to the new position of curriculum materials librarian at Hamilton Library, Edinboro State College, Edinboro, Pennsylvania.

Keith Blean is now head of the catalog department at the University of California at Santa Barbara library.

Jon L. Breen has assumed a reference librarian position at California State College, Dominguez Hills.

Willis E. Bridegam, former medical librarian at the University of Rochester’s Medical Center library has been named associate director of University libraries for reader services at the University of Rochester.

Linda Broderick has been appointed bibliographic searcher at the University of California at Santa Barbara library.

Virginia Carlson has been appointed to the arts library at the University of California at Santa Barbara library.

Alexander B. Carver is the newly appointed bibliographer at the Wesleyan University library, Middletown, Connecticut.

Jane S. Carver is now assistant reference librarian at the Wesleyan University library, Middletown, Connecticut.

Frederick G. Cook has been appointed cataloger at the Wesleyan University library, Middletown, Connecticut.

W. Stuart Debenham, Jr., has been appointed head of the acquisitions and bibliography departments, Yale University library, New Haven, Connecticut.

Ray E. Dengel has joined the staff of Hamilton Library, Edinboro State College, Edinboro, Pennsylvania.

Jack T. Ericson is now assistant director for administrative services in the George Arents Research Library at Syracuse University.

Douglas Ferguson has joined the automation division of Stanford University libraries as editor of publications for Project BALLOTS. He will also participate in analysis and design work.

Elizabeth Ann Foster joined the library staff of California State College, Dominguez Hills as reference librarian.

John M. Galijs is the newly appointed assistant director of resources and technical services of the Iowa State University library.

Harold L. Geisse, Jr., has been appointed as circulation librarian at Wesleyan University library, Middletown, Connecticut.

Robert Wilmot Getty received appointment as audiovisual librarian, instructor in library administration, University of Oregon library, Eugene, Oregon.

Daniael H. Giffen has been named assistant director for developmental services in the new George Arents Research Library at Syracuse University.

Mrs. Kathyrn E. Goebel is now assistant education librarian at the San Diego State College library, San Diego, California.

Carol L. Goyne is the newly appointed assistant serials librarian at the San Diego State College library, San Diego, California.
