2-9—Restoration: The Guild of Book Workers will sponsor the “Bernard Middleton Seminar in Restoration” in the bindery of the New York Botanical Garden. The seminar will include repairing leather bindings, finishing a restored book, and headbanding. Students must bring their own small handtools and as many pre- 19th century leather bindings in need of repair as possible. The workshop is limited to 10 participants.
