This month’s cover features a photograph by Fred Huff of an unidentified woman inspecting grasses at a New Mexico State University (NMSU) facility, with the Las Cruces' distinct Organ Mountains in the background, circa 1970s. Used at one point for an Agronomy brochure, this photo shows NMSU’s commitment to developing and enhancing state agriculture as part of its land grant mission; a mission that is over 100 years old.
