Cover Page
This month’s cover features Mother Jean Baptiste (left) and Mother Inez (center), faculty at Marymount College, visiting Marineland Aquarium circa 1960. Faculty and students from Marymount College frequently visited Marineland of the Pacific, located on 90 acres along the beach in Rancho Palos Verdes, California, to see marine exhibits and displays.

Marymount College was located in Palos Verdes, just uphill from Marineland from 1960 to 1968 when it moved onto the Westchester campus of Loyola University-Los Angeles as an autonomous institution. In 1973, the two institutions officially merged to become Loyola Marymount University. For more information on the collections at Loyola Marymount University, and the new William H. Hannon Library, visit library.lmu.edu.
